Shiraz

Grapes for our Shiraz wines are created from 25-year old vines in Treeton Estate’s Home Block and Valley Block and 12-year old vines from our Park Block plantings (see map).
To celebrate the release of Treeton Estate’s two premium Shiraz, and for a limited period, we are offering these gorgeous wines at a 30% discount. And to even the field, we are dropping the price of our current release Shiraz by the same amount. There will never be a better time to buy!
2007
The 2007 Shiraz is stunning, taking out three Bronze medals in its first year of release:
- Murrambateman Cool Climate Wine Show (2008): Class 9 – Shiraz / Shiraz Viognier
- Cowra Wine Show (2008): Class 21 – dry red – Shiraz
- Australian Small Winemakers Show (2008): Class 53 – Shiraz
The wine has a bouquet of oak mulberries and spice. On the palate this wine is smooth, fresh and fruity and spicy. The wine was fermented cool and barrelled in renovated American oak barriques

2009 ‘Park Block’ Shiraz
Park Block Shiraz is the name we have chosen for successors to our medal-winning 2007 Shiraz. The Park Block 2009 is defined by a bouquet of white pepper with a background of cherries and raspberries. Light and spicy through the palate with soft tannins and well balanced acid supporting a clean, lingering finish.
